I require a $50 deposit (retainer) to book a consult.
The deposit will go towards your tattoo retainer fee (which is $200 to book a tattoo, so you would just have to put down $150 more when you show up for your consult).
Once you send your consult deposit, it is partially refundable under these conditions:
-If you cancel your consult ahead of time with ample notice and want your deposit back.
- If you come to the consult and decide you're not ready to book a tattoo yet, or I'm not the artist for you.
I will keep $10 of your consult deposit as an admin fee and will return $40 to you.
However, If you miss your consult, or cancel with less than 24 hours notice, then your retainer is forfeited and you will not get your $50 back.
By sending the retainer, you agree to these terms and there will be no exceptions.
Only once you send your retainer fee will you be booked in.
If you take a few days to send it, then that spot you have been offered may be gone and we'll have to find you a new date.
IMPORTANT: Your consult retainer is refundable with notice, less the admin fee. However, after the consult, and once you add your additional $150 to it, it is then considered a tattoo retainer. Your tattoo retainer fee is not refundable under any conditions or circumstances that arise from your end. I require 7 days notice to change or cancel the date of a tattoo appointment, or your retainer is forfeited. Changing your tattoo appointment date more than once also comes with a fee- you can see details about that on my deposits page.
For your consult
If you're not aware, a consult is where we go over what you want in the design, I usually trace out a very rough stencil on your body, and we determine the size and flow of your piece!
Bring reference images you like, either from my work or work that you see that you would like me to get inspired from. Understand I will never copy someone else's art. Photos on your phone are fine.
You will need to decide by the end of the consult where you would like your tattoo (I can help!), so I can determine how much time to book you in for. Sometimes the time difference between a forearm or the side of the calf doesn't matter, but the time difference between the ribs and the arm does. You can't really change the size too much either between your consult and your tattoo as I will be booking you in for a very specific time frame.
I accept cash or etransfer for the remainder of the tattoo retainer fee. If e-transferring, you will have to do so before you leave or you won't be booked.
I do not send out designs before your appointment. Unfortunately, I am not able to make exceptions for this. Please make sure you trust me as your artist before you commit.
Can't wait to work with you!
